SCHOLARSHIPS – Cash for Scholarships

Scholarships

The average student owes $25,000 in student loans. In addition, tuition fees across the nation are rising because of leaner state budgets that deny funding to education.

Scholarships have always been more attractive than student loans, but the work required to apply for the top most competitive ones is unappealing to most people.

If you are not into writing tons of essays and simply do not have time spending hours in after school programs, finding easy scholarships that do not require much work are lifesavers.

Scholarships are different than other forms of financial aid because they are gifts and do not need to be repaid. Scholarships are offered by a variety of organizations including businesses, government, individuals, and non-profit agencies.

They can be based on academics, achievements, career aspirations, hobbies, organizational affiliations, and talents.

Most scholarships are available for students attending an accredited college or university. Filling out and submitting informational forms for more than one school will help you compare the available scholarships that you may qualify for at each institution.

The most logical place to look for easy scholarships is the World Wide Web. Since the internet has become a vast storehouse of information these days, it will not be difficult to find a suitable scholarship program that caters to your education expenses.

Choose the ones that you are comfortable with, but apply to at least three of them. Calculate how much you need and work that up to something like 300% because you will not get everything.

To be sure, ask scholars how many they applied for to get enough that covered all that they needed. This way, you will not fall short of your expectations when getting easy scholarships.

One example of an easy scholarship wherein you do not have to meet a grade requirement or write an essay is offered by the Tall Clubs International Group (TCI). They are offering individuals up to $1,000 for education if you meet certain height requirements.

Women must be at least 5 feet, 10 inches tall and men should be at least 6 feet, 2 inches tall. In order to apply, you must first join the TCI and then fill out a downloadable form. Next, you need to find a sponsor to sponsor your application. All the information you need is on the TCI web page.

Another way to get money for school is to apply for every single contest, offer, and program you can possibly find. Spend a few hours and start filling out as many applications as you can.

These applications can be lengthy sometimes, but they will help you get the money you need. Make sure you subscribe to mailing lists about different scholarship opportunities that are available.

If you apply for easy scholarships regularly, there is a good chance you will be able to get one. These easy offers do not ask for grade qualifications or any other specifications that most programs require. They are designed to help the average student.

Many different major corporations will award scholarship money based on contests they throw that advertises them or their products, although these have a few more complexities and requirements.

This means that you will have to take a little bit more time to send in your application. However, as long as this is simple enough to do and does not take up too much of your time, you can apply for these larger scholarships offered by major companies.

So for example, say a soft drink company is offering scholarship money for the best video with people drinking or using their product, if you are interested in making movies anyway, you can come up with a simple concept, shoot it, and enter it for a chance at winning the scholarship money.

This will take a few hours of your time and will probably be pretty fun as well.

Certain unusual scholarships are also offered to people who live in specific areas of the country or want to go into specific fields in college. So, conduct online searches for these, and see what you can come up with that applies specifically to you.

Also, look for scholarships that most people probably would not think to apply for. For example, if you want to be a vet, look for specific veterinarian scholarships out there.

Furthermore, you can apply to an unusual scholarship opportunity like the Zinch Weekly Three Sentence Essay Scholarship, in which students are required to write three sentences max of no more than 280 words on a certain prompt.

You will also have a good chance at winning these scholarships, because you probably will not have a lot of competition.

Many mothers over 40 who wish to return to school often cannot see how they can when they do not have a GPA. An easy way and a shortcut to scholarships for older women are with an essay and you should actively search for any scholarships that only wish this.

There are also grants available for part-time single mothers known as the Marguerite Ross Barnett Memorial Scholarship that offer scholarship grants of up to $1,700 for tuition fees.

Additionally, the College Grants for Single Mothers of Missouri is a great initiative from the State of Missouri that illustrates their concern for the condition of single mothers, supporting them to enjoy a better tomorrow.

There are a ton of scholarships opportunities out there that you should mass apply to by sending them a paper you wrote in school, a video of a performance you did, or a record you set as an athlete.

Many of these scholarships are set up to offer anywhere from fifty to five hundred dollars apiece, and many of them are either not given out or do not have any real specific requirements to be awarded beyond applying to them.

Sometimes just sending a list of your accomplishments will catch the eye of someone running these small scholarship programs and encourage them to award you a scholarship.

While many of these places will not respond to you, a few will and may even give you some scholarship money.
